Hello! This is the site of a transgendered woman, one who still lives in both
genders. I’m a TG support group facilitator, and a “T-girl” hard rock guitarist in a San Francisco
band that has headlined festivals and street fairs in that city. I also run my own contracting business, and my customers
are often aware of my femme self and her activities.
You
can go to my blog site for writings about transgender life as an "out" woman. http://www.blogger.com/home.
These are taken from posts I wrote for a TG forum, and they go back to 2003. There have been many changes along the
way, and I've revised some of them slightly to reflect what I've learned since. But for the most part, I've kept them
intact, as a record of where I've been, and where you the reader may be now. I got a lot of help from websites when
I was a new girl, wondering what came next. Those sites were a comfort to me, and I hope I can do the same for others.
I
had crossdressed when I was a young teen, mainly to create a “fantasy girl” for myself—at 12, I was too
young to date. I quit CDing for 32 some years, until it all came back at age 49. It
was an unpleasant shock, but I knew I could not keep this “woman within” a secret for long. I
had to make a decision to come out to family and friends, and after ten years, I can still say that it was one of the best
things to ever happen to me. It is not for everyone, and it takes courage, but I’m here to give support
to those who are searching for answers about this.
